BRZ: Voice reconginition with NAV?

I've been trying to use voice recognition with the navigation system. The owner's manual tells me it is possible, but I can't figure it out.

1) I go to the maps and hit the 'I agree' button. This is necessary to get to the navigation via speech.

2) I hit the 'speak' button on the head unit.

3) It prompts me for a command, and I say 'Navigation'.

4) I then get a text prompt that says 'That feature cannot be used with the selected voice guidance profile.' And there's an OK button, but nothing else.

I cannot find anything in the owner's manual or the settings on the head unit to alleviate this problem.

Any thoughts?

After playing with it a bit more, I figured it out. In the Navigation, go to the Settings and select Sounds and Warnings. The voice that is used to talk back to you needs to be set as Samantha, the only TTS voice in the system. Then the navigation by voice command works.

Mine does that every once in a while. I just turn off my iPhone and the headunit, then turn both back on and it works.

So my Bluetooth would only mess up with my Samsung Galaxy S3, but after i restarted it it was fine. Then my S3 crapped out and stopped working.
Went back to my Iphone 5 and the Bluetooth worked fine.
