Wait. If you got the choice... Other people that NEED one will buy it! lol

I read about the FT86 concept on the s2000 forum back in 08. Bought mine in early July 2012...

I am not worried!

Those things are what makes our cars unique from the future models. I say buy it.

These issues are a bit more than the TSB for the new 350z's seat wear, tire wear, but along the same sphere as the 05-06 350z Rev-up motor wear... but, point noted.

I will go against the grain and say wait...until you can decide for yourself.

I have watched the posts for the past 6 weeks or so, and just wanted to get past the hype/fear of CEL's and to see what owners thought of their purchase. I will of course not take this into consideration and simply consult my Magic 8 Ball instead. ;) Isn't a forum about opinions and to offer advice and help when asked?? At least the other 4 car forums I participate on currently are 'driven' this way...

The people with problems are going to be more vocal about it then those without problems. Just cause you hear a about a lot of issues doesn't mean they are as prevalent as they appear. I have no issues except for a little clunk in the transmission every once in a while. But I'm probably going to get some new fluid which is supposed to solve the problem.

If you like the car just go for it. It has a warranty after all.
