SilentMike's Asphalt 6MT has landed!
 

I sold my 08' Civic SI to CarMax and picked up my Asphalt 6MT from Team Toyota Mall of Georgia yesterday. I'd like to give a shout-out to Don Younge, who handled the sale for me and kept me up-to-date during the month it took from deposit to delivery. Before I pulled out of the dealership lot, I replaced the shift knob with a piano black Voodoo knob. The next mods will be replacing the shamefully cheap and thin vinyl shift and e-brake boots with perforated black leather with red stitching from JPM Coachworks when they have them available in a few weeks.

So far the FR-S is everything I had hoped it would be. 84 miles down, 916 more to go before I get to experience that boxer rumble at >4K RPM:)

Congrats. I did something very similar the day I picked up my BRZ. Dealer wouldn't match my CarMax offer on my '07 Mazda 3, but were nice enough to drive it down to CarMax for me to sell after I finished the paper work on the new Subaru.

Haha it's so difficult to hold back when you just want to hear that little engine go!
