Llumar Blue AIR 80

I have searched, and found one post relating to the Llumar Blue AIR 80 by Smudgeous in Florida. Has anybody else had any experience with this window film?

It seems ideal for reducing interior temperatures without reducing visibility much, which I think would help in the generally cloudy/rainy Oregon weather and for night driving.

The window tint has 78% visible light transmission,43% solar energy (heat) rejection (equivalent to 15% normal tint),99% UV rejection,13% glare reduction,9% visible light reflection.

Plus, I think it might look nifty installed on all the windows in a World Rally Blue BRZ.

I havent heard of it but i live in oregon, have 20% and have been fine as far as visability. Try 35% for normal tint. Ive heard ofthat stuff its more or less a slight beefed up version of whats on there from the factory and most people ive heard were doing front windshields with it. Good luck with your tint search!!!

I have installed it all around. To the untrained eye, it looks stock. No issues at all driving at night and the heat reflection is awesome!

I had this done in my windshield. Hardly noticeable and heat rejection is great. I love it. Cant block as much glare though as a regular ceramic tint.

Tap'd from my G-Nex

I'm considering this Llumar Blue AIR 80 all around, or just on the windshield and Huper Optik X-treme Performance Sech on the rest of the windows. Huper Optik X-treme Performance Sech claims 59% visible light transmission, 8% visible light reflection, 99% UV rejection, and total solar energy rejection of 54%.

I have the Air80 installed, and I am really enjoying it. In the central Texas heat, it has been a blessing. I have Formula 1 Pinnacle tint on the other windows.

Pretty good if you're not into a tinted look
