that exhaust make 11hp gain. very impressive!

Chad 08-28-2012 05:17 AM

The one in this video is actually 7hp and 3 ft-lbs it's the non-resonated. But still impressive. If you're willing to spend the 1600$ that full system would be wicked 11hp and 11 ft-lbs torque and saves you 18lbs off the stock system.

Here's the resonated one. Prefer the non-resonated growl though.

Found this on their website in FAQ's.

Q.

What is a resonator and what's the difference between a resonated and non-resonated exhaust system?
A.
A resonator is a chamber in the exhaust system that contains a specific volume of air which is designed to cancel out certain frequencies of sound (made by the engine) - making the exhaust noise quieter.

Therefore, a non-resonated exhaust system will give you extra performance and a louder exhaust note and the resonated system will give you extra performance without increasing the exhaust noise much.

I have to say that non resonated one gives me goose bumps :) saving for that: Start!

Me too. The resonated one sounds like stock. Hope the non-resonated one is not too loud.

i like how the de-resonated sounds. i just wish these people wouldn't only post vids that are them sitting still revving the engine. let us hear everything! drive bys, 2nd gear decel, WOT accel

They both sound like stock.........and for $1600.......huh? There are others in this forum, look around in the Engine & Exhaust threads, and way less $$.

The videos i posted were not the $1600 system... they're more like $900. Just the cat-backs not the full system.
