Mine will be a year round car as well... Slap some good winter tires on (not all seasons) and you should be good. Just make sure you go easy on the gas and roll off 2nd gear for better traction.

Oh, and welcome to the forums! :happy0180:

Mine will also get some winter use. If you drive in any snow I recommend winter tires.

I will be driving it all year as well. Going to buy a seperate set of wheels and good winter tires and just swap them easily. May even consider studs as our winters are harsh here. :iono:

I will be. I also live in New England. Do not put all seasons on for winter. It will be a disaster.

This is precisely what the "snow" switch does for those with AT.

My FRS is a summer car, destined for the garage during the snowy months. In the winter I drive my Tundra.

Yep, mine is my daily driver. I am planning on getting winter tires and hoping for the best. Our last winter was pretty tame so I suspect this winter is going to be ferocious. Good luck to all of us in New England.

I hear great things about the Bridgestone Blizzak.

we didn't get ANY snow last year, so it'll be year round for me

WolfsFang 08-28-2012 12:51 PM

i will be using my car for the winter.

Chuynh207 08-28-2012 12:54 PM

Last winter was a joke. I hope this winter will be the same, so that way I can look at all my friends who told me "New England winters are horrible!" and be like "You lied, it ain't s**t out here!!!"

In all seriousness, I had Michelin Pilot PA3s on my STi and it worked wonders. Not sure how it'll be in a RWD car, but probably going to get the same tires again (except in 17s now)

SportInjected 08-28-2012 01:33 PM

i'll be driving mine year round, and i'm looking forward to doing some drifting in the snow!
