The closest detailer that I personally would reccommend is Charles Hahn on Arlington Rd. in Lansing about a hr from Ann Arbor if my memory is correct. Charlie is always booked up and does excellent work. Charlie@Hahn-on-the.net cchautoappearance.com.

I almost forgot to mention David Fermani of metro Detroit. Sorry David. David and Charlie are both outstanding detailers and members of this forum.

I am in Novi and should be receiving my satin white pearl BRZ by the end of October. Looking to have Opti-Coat done. Whats the cost to coat a new car? I have also considered purchasing equipment and attempting the coat myself. How difficult is it to apply the coating? (would be learning on another vehicle, not the BRZ)

Hi; I just responded to your email from this morning regarding pricing. :thumbsup:

As far as how difficult the coating is to apply, it's really not that difficult once you get used to the process. The main challenge is making sure the vehicle is properly and fully prepared prior to application of the coating. Depending on what is needed, that part can get expensive (purchasing a polisher, pads, compound/polish, etc.)
