S2k, if you have had the fortune of taking the S2k to the Tail, then I tip my hat. I guess you have used her for the intended purpose (aka, like Alba is for bangin'). I have plenty of mountain roads for 100s of km around me, but I would love to one day try the Dragon. Must be a blast in the S2k

It is a blast if you don't drive like that moron in the above video. He deserved that damage to his ride and what's worse, it's a CR. I don't try to act a fool up there, just enjoy the mountain scenery and the curves. Once the FT comes out, you'll have to make the trip down here. It'd be awesome to one day see a couple hundred 86's driving the Dragon. I'm already formulating what to call certain meets.

Oh, wow... that guy must be kicking himself.
Repeatedly.
Hard.
Like, really hard.

Anyhow, I'm with you on driving responsibly. I want to find some time this summer to take an advanced driver's course on a local track day so I can better enjoy my car. And then the FT, of course. :)

Utter lack of punctuation and grammar in both posts is quite similar. No, it's the same. Thanks for playing.

Nothing uncivil about my posts to him. But I respect your wish to keep things on track (hence the comment at the end of my last post).

I doubt anyone here knows the roads I like unless they live in BC, but I really enjoy an unused portion of the "Sea to Sky Highway" (Highway 99) that runs between Pemberton and Lillooet, through Mt. Currie. It's a gorgeous winding road (though the actual quality of the asphalt is not so great), up and down Mt. Currie and then winds through a valley with tiny one lane metal bridges to go over the deep creeks, before coming out the other end and seeing even more gorgeous scenery. Oh, and the temperature changes by about 10 degrees C from bottom to top.

Oooh, juicy. Details? :)

I would love to drive throughout WA. I just need to find some free time to do so. Especially the eastern region through the mountains.

To each their own. Some people are enthusiast drivers and some people are enthusiasts.

And I would call that s2000 a waste of a car. I call any drag car, a waste of car....well, with few a exceptions. I find it funny that most people call drifting a "show" motorsport, mainly because its not a race. Drag Racing is the ultimate automotive show sport in my book. The outcome is more based off deep pockets than driving skill. Its more reliant on how well you can tune an engine than how well you can 'drive' the car.

But all of that is meaningless anyways. The entire argument that started with my comment is pretty silly, considering it was started on a matter of opinion.
