Is it possible to make this car sound like LFA?
As the title says. I love the super fast high revving, high pitched sound of super cars. Is it even possible to make this car sound like that?

What about the woo woo guy?
|
Sure.
Stronger, lightened, balanced and blueprinted internals. Raise rev limit to 9k, super light flywheel, one off exhaust tuned by Yamaha (or just a custom piece in general). I think it's possible, it would just cost a grip of cash. |
Put a CD with LFA acceleration runs in radio. Crank up the volume :burnrubber:
|
Drop the 1LR into the FR-S, and done. Anything can be one with cash. However no 4 cyl will sound like a V10 that sounds like an old F1 car.
|
It's easy. All you have to do is he 1LR-GEU swap.
|
Oh yeah...you also have to mate together 1.5 more FA20's somehow.

To me, thinking about it from a sound engineering standpoint, I don't see any reason that an exhaust can't be tuned to dampen low frequencies, and amplify high frequencies.
No, it will never sound like an LFA. Of COURSE it will never sound like an LFA. The differences between the two engines is too big to even comprehend. However, I still don't see any real reason why an exhaust can't be tuned to narrow the frequency/tone to the mid-high end. It would take time and money to develop I'm sure, but ultimately, it HAS to be possible. Shit, Kreissieg tunes for sound, and pretty much ONLY for sound. I'd love to see what they might come up with for this car. |

this thread is very very pointless...

Well, if anyone can do it, it'd probably be Nameless. You should look up their Genesis 3.8r exhaust, that thing sounds beastly.

Granted, the OP could have asked for a high-pitched exhaust sound a little differently, but really, what is pointless about wanting your car to sound a certain way? |
