HAWK HPX Pads

I was reading an article regarding the inaugural Hawk autocross specific pad. $200 per axle on tirerack, currently out of stock. Anyone here run these pads and have any input on how they compare to choices like EBC Blue, Stoptech Street+, FERODO, etc, or even OEM pads.

Guy in our local region did the testing on them in his DS gen 2 twin (the silver one in many of the photos circulating online). Currently runs Simmon's blue CST twin he just bought.

I don't have any direct feedback, but I can find out. A buddy drove the car for the first time a week or two ago that never drives RWD and he loved it. Was 3rd in PAX and the owner was 1st... by a second in PAX times. It was that damn quick. I'm sure he has the pads on both cars by then or swapped them over. He ran them a season in DS.

Everyone runs DS2500's here, so that's likely his baseline. From what I'm hearing they're good, but that's about it for feedback details. Likely the replacement go-to.

Anyone try the Carbotech 1521's? They claim good stopping power, little to no rotor damage and much lower dust (which I'm learning to understand with my 2015 tS)!

I have the HPX on my car. Love them.
