Does anybody give their cars nicknames?

My FRS is The Pumpkin cause its hot lava orange. When i had my '72 Camaro it was The Green Goblin, a few others i had names for over the years as well.

Yes, always have.

My '13 FRS was Olivia (as was my 1985 MR2) after my "childhood crush" Olivia Newton-John.

MomHawk's Mustang (a 2005 and replaced with a 2024) are named Reba. This started in 2005 when the tv show "Reba" with Reba McEntire was on the air. Besides Reba, we had Barbara Jean (our 2001 Chevy Astro), and Cheyenne (my 2009 Honda 919/Hornet).

My present Daily Driver (a 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ) is named EVie.

Nope.

My wife dubbed my silver BRZ "Baby Shark" 'cause it's small, grey and has a shark fin antenna on the roof.

Mine is known simply as "The Burzz"

No, never. It doesn't resemble anything alive in any way

Some of my cars get names :

My 89 SI was Rhonda, always finding trouble that one. Between getting
stolen numerous times & attracting vandals & accidents on her own..

My 19 yr old daily GD3 has been called a few names... The brick, and recently Rusty.
But im sure it gets called other things when im holding up the traffic!

The BRZ was called the Tomato for a short while. I decided to keep it so got renamed Scarlet,
Cant remember if it was the Ferrari red Scarlet paint or because of the curves it wears reminded me of someone.

Frisky Is As Frisky Does

Our 2013 FR-S justified its name - FRISKY, aka CA license OUR♥FRS - on its first run on CA-192 from Rincon Hill to the Montecito Cars & Coffee.

Sapphireho 09-09-2025 08:22 PM

They come with name badges.

Ernest72 09-16-2025 04:15 PM

My BRZ is the “Daberz”
My 04 WRX wagon is “the subie”

Lame and obvious but that’s what they are called.
