Anyone know what’s wrong with this car?

As title says, trying to figure out what’s going on with the car in the link, it’s really cheap and I’m looking for a daily. little orange car

I would guess it's the 265,000km on the odometer and sold with no safety.

New safety system uses the tablets for pictures and techs needs to measure pads, rotor thickness etc.
If it isn't stock they can get picky and fail it for aftermarket parts.

Besides the colour?
Did you read the CarFax?

Yes sir, seemed like a minor accident, but the price being so low makes me sense that there has just got to be more wrong with it.

Probably the colour.

I’ve been hearing talk about safety’s being not as easy now, which is a shame

It's not, my guess is that it's on purpose to get the shit boxes off the road since there's no more E-test.

I just had my father's recently purchased 99 BMW M roadster safetied and it can be done easier depending on the shop.

Old car problems I guess, but I just need a cheap daily (that’s entertaining), who knows, maybe the cheap frs dream doesn’t work

What's happening with the FK8?

It’s being taken off of daily duty, it’s had enough and would rather it only do actual driving instead of the a to b.

I get it weekly honestly of questions about me driving it as much as I do lol, ranging from strangers to family members, so maybe I’ll take the hint finally and get a beater so the FK8 can be maintained a little more gracefully (not that she’s in bad shape either).

If you know a good shop can always ask to have it inspected there. Most places do the PreCheck before taking pictures to make process easier.

It’s got TRD exhaust so perhaps a catless header or something else non-compliant which could be reversed???

Mileage. Buy it. Cya at the track

Lantanafrs2 05-18-2025 07:11 PM

Buy it for fa24 swap

Dadhawk 05-18-2025 07:31 PM

Price isn't that far off given the mileage, the accident and the fact the dealer obviously wants to get rid of it. In fact, I bet you could get it cheaper.
