Mid Ohio top speed?

Does anyone have a rough idea of top speed in a stock-ish 86? Preferably an fa24 but either way.

My 1st gen tops at around 118 MPH, near the top of 5th gear on my '18 BRZ (manual, 4.3 diff). I can imagine 2nd gen will go faster (125 maybe?) and might require a shift to 6th.
I typically brake between the 5th and 4th cone markers. I have no power mods, do have mild suspension mods which probably help with exit speed out of the keyhole a bit. This is on endurance 200TW tires.

We make about 195rwhp but have a big wing and splitter so I'd imagine it will be close be just a few mph over your numbers. Man, that's a high top speed for a 2.2 mile track. We will be probably be around 120-120mph. Sheesh. I dont think I got over 115 at COTA.

The back straight in Mid Ohio is pretty long. A friend with a 981 Cayman GT4 peaks at close to 140 MPH.

My personal best with e85/JDL 421/4.3 rear diff was 121. I just did a JDL turbo update to mine so I'm going to guess that I'll get faster.

The highest I've ever heard of from anyone I know was 187 with a 2018 Porsche 911 GT2RS.

Here's my video: https://youtu.be/CVl8zpdyUts

Yeah, for sure. Even the thought of it makes me nervous an hour and a half away from the track.

That's a good question. The driver is Jimmy Rauck (Rock's Trailer Sales if you live in Central Ohio) and my guess would be that he's braking deep. My daughter got to do a ride along at an autocross event with him and she said that was the fastest thing she had ever ridden in and she was hopping in between a lot of cars at autocross events for a few years.

Still, that car is insane. See it in person on any kind of track is eye opening.

downforce and tires help, but energy still increases exponentially.

Assuming just a very mild build, and no weight reduction and good driver, 130-135, weather dependent. FA24/E85.

A large part will be dependent on how late you're willing to brake for China Beach
