New here, need some advise
 

I wanna get rid of my torque dip, I was wondering if I should open everything up to 3" or leave it 2.5, and which air intake do yall recommend, I'm gunna get uel headers and a cat back exhaust to go with it.

Forget the cat back, just get some headers and a tune, done. No intake unless it's connected to a supercharger or turbo, otherwise it's pointless.

Aftermarket intake tubes are nice because you can eliminate the cabin sound generator and resonators. When you step on the gas the extra noise makes your car feel faster even if there is no measurable gain.

Keep the stock airbox and throw in a K&N Filter. There is no need to change to an aftermarket intake since it doesn't do much for gains. You can eliminate the sound generator as it's a simple DIY mod from Home Depot/Lowes. The thread link is below.

Catback can depend on everyone for sound, unless you're relying on weight reduction, then a single-exit would be beneficial compared to a dual exhaust.

E85, OFT (Open Flash Tablet), UEL, Catback is enough to gain a good amount of power while eliminating the torque dip. If you have the extra $$$ to spend, then I would advise going with the EcuTek over the OFT.

+1 for a header and tune. This will change sound and feel of the car. If you would like to go for the "subie rumble" then go for an unequal length header(UEL).

Catbacks/Axlebacks are usually for sound but will have little gain paired with mentioned above.

+1 for keeping the stock intake. There's been a few posts and some videos on YouTube with dyno testing but take it with a grain of salt.

Just ignore the so called "torque dip". If you hadn't read about it, chances are you wouldn't even notice it.

Ain't nutten wrong with the machine the way it was designed - :)

You're in Cal. I wouldn't do anything, unless you like putting everything back to stock, including tune, every smog check.

It seems you have a 2020 GR86. If GR86 is correct, you don't have torque dip.
