How many vehicles can be programmed with the ecutek retail version?
 

How many vehicles can be programmed with the ecutek retail version? Does ecutek limit the retail version to the number of dongles that can be purchased, or the number of vehicles that can be monitored and refreshed?

If there are multiple cars that have licenses before, can I use my ecutek to program my ROM for them? Is there any restriction on this from ecutek?

in theory there should be a limit, in practice i 've used my own kit to tune and flash more than 9 different cars
and i ve tuned groups of friends that used the same kit for more than 20 vehicle , so don't worry

If you start to DIY tune a bunch they can mandate you purchase the full suite. If you're working with a tuner you can flash in as many as you'd like, we have some folks using the same dongle on dozens of cars with no issue worldwide.

yeah just don t load too many points in the dongle that has the self tuner upgrade

use a dongle without that license if your planning to tune a lot of different brz/gt86, to load points to your friend's cars

except that then they won t sell the full suite. i ve been asking them to sell me a full suite master since 2018 and they just answer "No."

that didn t stop me to tune others anyway

ecutek guys are greddy people and the obd device and usb dongle are of the lowest construction quality i ve ever seen in my life

they can be helpful with support anyway sometimes.
Few years ago was better though
also latest Racerom patches are bugged as hell and every release introduces even more bugs
I ve stopper debugging for them the moment they answered "just revert to older racerom"
