2013 BRZ Homelink Mirror falling off
 

Looking for some guidance here.

My 2013 BRZ Homelink mirror (with 3 buttons and the compass) keeps coming loose and falling off.

I have already replaced the mounting plate with the revised part number. So and the base itself it secure to the windshield so that is not the problem.

The issue is the mirror itself is coming loose from the mounting plate.

I have tried putting blue loctite on the torx screw and re-tightening, but it comes loose again after about 3-4 days.

I dont have a subwoofer or anything, just regular daily driving.

Anyone have a solution to this particular issue? I have search the forums and google, and everyone only seems to have issues with the mounting plate itself, not the mirror.

I dont particularly want to buy a new mirror if I dont have to.
