Would love to see this side by side with a Hakone

pretty much looks like just a second gen hakone..maybe a bit darker? (Vid's darker so cant tell there)
They dont show much of the interior except for that segment in the beginning and its got the tan accents. Wheels look the same.

hmm you know i feel like the whole green/tan motif worked better on the first gen. I still wonder how different the Ridge green is from the Hakone green on the first gen.

Toyota need to bring ORANGE instead of green. iirc he likes orange

I agree that this color may be a bit darker than the 2020 Hakone but I do like this one as well.

I just went to compare the press releases image of the GR86 hakone and some google image search for 86 Hakone and it seems like the ridge green might be a bit more of a matte or flat green with a tad less yellow/white hue to it.

Again hard to tell without matching photographic lighting. Plus this hakone also includes the sachs/Brembos as opposed to the GT86 Hakone which was more of a dressup package.

The GR86 came in orange didnt it for the anniversay special edition or something?

Or was it not "orange" enough for him lol, since it wasnt the LAVA orange the first gens used.

Yeah it did. I thought it’s very close to Lava… but it wasn’t enough for Tcoat to trade his Hakone lol

Only 30 are coming to Canada, all will be equipped with a manual gearbox. Yippee!
Who cares about tcoat, it was his decision and so his loss. This however, may bring me back to the twins. But that’s a BIG maybe as the wife now wants a bucket list car of her own and I am not into matte finishes.
