Maintenance
 

We are undergoing maintenance and will be offline for 30 minutes.
This site has more maintenance than anything I've ever seen. If I maintained my car like they maintain this site, I would have only traveled 100 miles in 11 years.
Let's see how long this post lasts.

It appears to be offline during business hours most weekdays. As someone had previously commented, this site might be reduced to being hosted by a personal computer at this point for all we know, and it's switched off during business hours. Or perhaps it is hosted without peak hours available in order to keep operating cost to the bare minimum at this stage.

Welp, the ol site is up and running again (or I should say, crawling again).

Kind of reminds me of the old "dial up" days - :iono:

It is what it is. When it dies, so will my only venture into social media.

Then you can go down to the Indian Creek Plaza and swap tall tales with the other old guys - :D

I hope it's not dying as it's a source of a ton of great info (obviously).

Has anyone reached out to an admin to see what's going on?

You would think that a site that can generate 15k visits a day would be worth keeping.

Not to mention the constant commercials and pop-ups. Even when the site is offline.

Yep, ya gotta be quick!

Like a good old German sports car; it sees more maintenance time in the shop than it does driving time on the road. No offense to our European friends of course!

Or........an English sports car. I remember setting (synchronizing) the carbs on my 1970 MGB in the evening ...... then, they would be out of sync the next morning - :iono:

You guys remember when this site was absolutely bumping in 2012-14? Those were good times.
