How long will my brakes last?
 

So... Um... I've been driving a lot lately trying to practice rev matching and now heel toe rev matching and I feel like I'm going way too fast to slow down lol and eventually have to press on the brakes harder in order to stop on time.

How long do you think the brakes will last under normal to medium braking?

I guess if it does go out, I can gen get an after market brakes. Not sure how much those cost -.-



I wanna start peeling this car just so I have a reason to change the tires lol.

Just get better pads. From what I have heard on some of the track reviews they are the weak link with the brakes.

My salesman told me the brake pads are covered in the 36,000 mile warranty and if you complain about the brakes before then, they'll replace them without cost. I've never heard such a thing but I'm definintely going to give it a try when the time comes.

Subaru gave me new rotors and pads on my WRX at ~30000 miles on full warranty. I was thrilled. First set became warped and scarred quite suddenly.

No real problems with the stock pads being driven hard on the street. A little fade after extended honing sessions but nothing dramatic.

I don't know how hard you're pushing on yours so can't say much more than that.

For track work I'll be using Hawk HP+ pads and high temp fluid.

The stock pads are pretty lackluster on this car to be honest, but they'll last 30k miles with street driving.
