Question-clear bra maintenance

Just had my 3m clear bra installed on my Argento FRS and the installer advized spray speed wax (instead of conventional cream) but after every wash, to avoid white waxy build up on the vinyl seams.

I tried Lucas slick mist (spray on wipe off light quick buff).

Anyone have experience doing this ? Is Lucas slick mist any good ?
It sure did come up a lot glossier than Normal wax.

I haven't used Slick Mist yet. But I do use Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Wax. It does a great job of de-emphasizing swirls and doesn't leave white bits on the trim or clear-bra.

Just use a toothpick to get the built up wax off the edges of the bra.

I've been using Turtle Wax Ice on mine. It' a clear synthetic wax. It's easy to work with, leaves no swirls and no reside. I like it so far, I guess I'll see how it does as time goes.

I use something like this for removing wax of the bra and the crevasses. The blue end works wonders.

Mind if I ask how much did the clear bra cost you?

How's the bra look? Does it dull the look of the paint

I've had mine installed for 5+ months now and it doesn't change the look of the paint around it at all. People always look at my car and wonder why I didn't get a clear bra installed and I always tell them it IS installed and their reaction is :confused0068:

I have Xpel Ultimate which is nearly impossible to tell it's even there once it's on, and it still shines like it's been waxed recently. No extra care needed other just regular car washes.

I am using Xpel Ultimate Protection paint for 15 months... I just washed the car and still shining like new... :-)

I cant remember what film I have on the car, but its been there since May 2012. I use a plastic polish to keep it clear and swirl free and it works wonders. I forget the name but I can check when I get home. Meguiars Plast-x works wonders on the deeper scratches too.

Much like paint, don't let bugs/bird crap sit on it too long or it will etch. I wax mine too with Meguiars spray wax.

I've had a clear bra on my car for a little over 3 months now and doesn't change the color or looks dull. I even use normal wax to provide a little bit of protection. Depending on the angle you're looking from, you can't even tell its there. Here are a few pics after a detail that was done yesterday.
