"Hi @forrest280z and everyone at BaT, wanted to share some sad news with you all. Unfortunately, my friend Andrew @TurtleMcSmash was tragically involved in a racing accident at Willow Springs Intl Raceway last weekend and he did not make it. It was in his new Rush SR racecar, which is what he bought after selling this BRZ. Those of us who knew him are devastated and heartbroken. I’m sorry that this is horrible addition to the history of this auction, but I thought that you might want to know. I hope that some of Andrew’s incredible passion for racing and legacy of success in competition lives on a little bit with you and his former car. RIP Andrew Kessel 1986-2024. :("
