What are you guys doing for slippery pedals in your twin?
I have a 2013 with about 60k on the clock. It's raining in my area and my clutch foot slips off sometimes when I get in with wet feet.
I am thinking of doing grip tape off a skateboard for a good high-friction surface. What have you guys done? New pedal covers? Aftermarket options? Just curious. |
Better shoes.
2013 with more miles. Always got skate shoes. Griptape if you don't want new shoes. |
I don't have this exact product, but something similar that was available when the twins first came out.

I use Forester pedal covers which seem to have more grip.

I know it sounds crazy but thought I'd ask - did the protective plastic get removed from the pedals? (though after 60k miles, I'd think it'd worn off regardless).

I'll vote deficient shoes as well.
Cleanup on aisle five! Someone fell on their ass again. |

I keep some driving loafers in my fun cars for days when my foot attire is not adequate :iono:

IMHO: When pushing a pedal, the force should be perpendicular to the pedal surface. If it is, no slipping.
