Anyone use the Ansix Auto Oil Pressure Sensor CANbus Kit?

Sorry, this is a duplicate post from the BRZ section, but I was trying to get as much exposure as possible, since some people may stay on the forum section of the car that they own.
I was looking to get this kit for my car so I can monitor the oil pressure, to make sure it doesn't drop to dangerous levels while on the track. I'm not concerned with data logging, or anything like that. I just want it to trigger the oil light to warn me to slow down, on the hard right hand turns if necessary.
Is anyone using this device yet (I think it's fairly new)? Was it easy to install, and how well does it work?
Also, if you are using it, do you know what pressure limit it will take to trigger the oil light at the different RPM's?
I appreciate any info or advice anyone can give me regarding this device. I can't seem to find any info/videos on this device yet.

I built my own. See the finished board https://github.com/HPDE-Tools/CANMIM...ent-1868334660 . This is also what is currently used by @900BRZ. My board can be paired with an off the shelf display and show me the oil pressure/temp and other data if I need to.

I recommend not to mess up OEM low oil pressure lamp as it will be logged by ECU and your warranty process will likely going to be more difficult. Well in my opinion the warranty of this car just doesn't exist, based on the engine failure story we heard so far.

Excellent point.

I run it. Install was fairly easy until it came to fishing the wires through the firewall. That took me a while. The grommet isn't a great fit in the firewall, but it gets the job done. I used some permatex high temp thread sealant on the adapter and have had no leaks.

The way the glove box obd port fits, i get some rubbing between the glove box and obd link when i open the glove box, and sometimes it will unplug the obd link. Not sure if there was some wiggle room to avoid that.

It will trigger the oem low oil pressure light, but I've only seen it in cooldown laps or stopping in the hot pit for a happy, and the revs drop very low with the oil very hot.

As far as data logging, it works great. All the other channels I get are cool.

I looked at the GJP one and wasn't excited about some issue they were having relating to second gen cars and needing another port and lack of info about that. That may it may not be resolved with some additional init commands for the obdlink. You'd have to ask Gerald.
