Lowering springs for 2nd gen?

With the Gen 1 cars, the wheel gap was really large and lowering springs were the first mod I performed...

I have an order in for a 2024 (April delivery) and from the pictures it appears that the wheel gap is not as much as it used to be. Have the stock springs changed? Are the new cars lower?

Any info appreciated. I do about 12 HPDE's a year and am planning to do pads/fluids/tires and camber bolts/offset top hats (target -2 to -2.5), but I am uncertain about lowering springs this time.

I don't *think* the new cars are lower. Here are a couple pics of mine with stock springs and Eibach lowering springs.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a55632650b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2665666f48.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...324ecd9587.jpg

I wouldn't say they're lower, the bigger wheels and body makes it seem lower to me at least, here's mine on rsr springs, sits pretty similar to my first gen on coils at the height i wanted so im pretty confident that they sit just as high. These springs ride good, road mannerisms are pretty good grip feels good too, if you want to drop the gap like me i think its a good option, if you want track benefits then you already know a good coilover is the solution
