Gasoline smell inside the car.
I know there are like a ½ dozen threads on this subject already. I read through several and basically they said the same thing. Fuel leak, rip out the back seats, check under the hood and under the car. Well it’s -10 frickin’ degrees in the sun so, I’m not doing anything myself! I checked the web for recalls and service bulletins but there was only one for my VIN, the backup camera problem which my car was checked for and passed. Yes I know there was a fuel pump issue for some 2018 BRZ’s but according to what I’ve read and been told that didn’t affect my car.
I called the local dealership and they can’t get me in for over a month. (It’s the same everywhere for all makes.) So my little tS will spend the next month sitting in the garage waiting for 9:00 a.m. Jan. 23, 2024 for its visit to Bay Subaru. I expect it will take them a long time to find out the problem and a short time to fix something simple. Still, they’ll charge me huge for the man hours. Merry Friggin' Christmas and a Happy Birthday to me too. (My Birthday is Jan. 25) |
