OEM Brembo Rotors and Pads for Cheap!

Hey y'all. Recently had to replace all four rotors and pads on my 2020 PP BRZ. Did a bit of researching on what parts to go with and ultimately decided OEM was best for my uses (strictly street car). I liked the feel of the OEM hardware and wanted similar and research showed the Brembo rotors are very solid metallurgically.

Like many I was appalled at what the dealer (and even vendors) were charging for OEM replacements. I had to do some digging but I was able to source the Brembo replacements on RockAuto at 1/4 of the price. I wanted to share with the rest of y'all who have PP twins.

Front Rotors

Front Pads

Rear Rotors

Rear Pads

I hope this helps others out. Compared to even the budget friendly Centric premium rotors the Brembos are only $10 more. I know which I'd rather have on my car.

Are those not factory replacements?

Does it fit? Yes. Is it effectively identical to OEM? No. Will they fit and work fine for a mildly driven car? Yes.

So will Autozone specials.

Could you please shed some insight on the evidence you have that these are not OEM equivalent?

While I don't have any photos on hand, the last time I tried ordering those (as well as brembostoreusa.com), the packaging, machining, and finish on the rotors were different from the actual OE replacement, which are different from Brembo HP rotors.

It's immediately obvious when you have them next to each other. It's like comparing Brembo GT to PP calipers. At first glance they may seem the same, since the same rotors and pads are used, but when they're next to each other, the difference is immediate, even to the untrained eye.

I located a dealer in California who had the fronts on the shelf. Unfortunately, they were in a plain cardboard box so I couldn't compare to the boxes I received. The fronts I received had blue plastic cling wrap on them and the coating/cross hatching looked nice

The brakes feel great to me but I am very much a novice when it comes to performance oriented braking. Only have a couple HPDE's under my belt in other cars and none with this platform.

All I have to go by is the OEM part numbers that I plugged into Brembo's site search bar and what I ended up seeing. I was not able to compare the two side by side obviously.
