Irritating dash rattle

I have this rattle in my dash driving me crazy. It sounds like it is in the steering column. But I don't know if these cars even have a steering column. (electric steering) The sound appears to be coming from a point directly inline with steering shaft.
Does anybody have any ideas of where to start to troubleshoot this problem?

I'm thinking about removing the driver's seat to get access to the panels under the steering to see what's going on. But I'm worried about opening a can of worms that won't be able to be closed. I'm worried about creating more rattles by taking everything apart and trying to put it back together seeing that everything is put together with plastic rivets and glue nowadays.

Maybe I should just turn up the radio and ignore it?

Right behind the steering wheel?

Could be the EPS coupler/bushing: https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133606

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I had no idea this was such a common problem. I'm 99% sure this is what it is. Just like if there's a strange whirling noise in the clutch area it's the TOB, looks like if you have a rattle in the steering column, it's the coupling.
This thread is active right now and I didn't even notice it.https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=116756
