CA Bill AB-645
California Roads Could Soon Have Cameras Issuing Speeding Tickets
A bill moving through the Legislature would allow cameras in six cities to issue automatic fines for vehicles driving at least 11 miles an hour over the limit (***It passed, waiting for Newsom to sign it***). https://www.nytimes.com/2023/08/15/u...d-cameras.html https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/f...202320240AB645 Quote:

Unconstitutional.

Seems evident that this has nothing to do with speeding, but rather the lack of enforcement power given to the police over the last few years. And Newsom will 100% sign this rights infringing bill.:w00t: |

conservatives actually go and fucking read the constitution challenge (impossible) |

You must also feel people have a right to drive through a red light at an intersection when they install those pesky intersection cameras. You don't have a right to speed, so how is this infringement? |
Defund the police and buy machines instead.

Keep the window licking fucktards in California

True, no right to speed. Ditto running red lights. But it's not really about catching the violators. The unconstitutional part is lack of due process. In general though, it's all just an excuse to increase monitoring of the population, which nobody should be in favor of. |
Cameras don't show who is driving the car. Unfair burden of proof on the defendant. Already tested in Florida court.

Not triggered at all, I enjoy this. Some pinhead who lives on Google search pukes out long winded posts and I respond to them. I can do this all day long
