Dumb fuse question

This sounds silly I know, but with my fused neck I can't turn my head up to see the fuse box. The diagram shows 15 and 22 are both cigarette lighter fuses. Anyone know which is the one in the center console? I'm going to try to get a mirror down there and see if I can reach it and pull it out, but it would be good to know which one I'm dealing with first.

The manual for my 2013 FRS shows #22 is the power outlet. #15 is for the audio system.

I have 15 for audio system as well but 2 is "P/point No. 2 power outlet"
22 is "P/point No 1 - power outlet"

I see my earlier mistake. My apologies. 2 and 22 are power outlets. 15 is audio and I don't know why i put it in there. it'll help to know which is the center console. I'm not getting any power there now. I'm going to try a mirror, but believe me, not being able to swivel my head much makes doing anything under there really hard.

Yep, I hear that. I have a mild leak on the drain of one side of my sink. Not only doesn't my neck swivel, by back doesn't either. If I try using a mirror my tri-focals don't "see" so good, plus everything is upside down.

OK, it's call son-in-law time - :iono:

I tried it with a large mirror and flashlight today and it can't be done, at least not by me. Hasn't someone on this board once changed a fuse down there and knows which one is which?

Boy,
I can see the problem you're having. Even with a healthy neck it's a bitch to get to that fusebox. What a stupid place to put it.
Anyway, number 2 goes to the glove compartment cigarette lighter. So I would assume that 22 goes to the center console cigarette lighter. I can't confirm that because my center console power doesn't work. But logic says it's number 22.

OK
I was just thinking why can't I verify #22? So I pulled it to check and the fuse is good but the socket doesn't work. Oh well. I can confirm that 22 is the hardest one to get to.
And I discovered my driver's door stay is useless.

The center console outlet in my 2013 FRS has never worked and I never got around to checking the fuse. I've got to pull the console out this weekend when I change my clutch and will try to track down the problem with the outlet.

Last year, I put in the upgraded door stay. Best $45/20 minute upgrade I've ever done.

Something really strange happened after fooling with the fuses. I was driving down the street and saw a warning light flash on the dash. It was on the left side of the tachometer. I was worried maybe it was the oil light so I stopped and turned the key to acc. The only warning light on the left is the TPMS. So I went on my way. After a while there was a rattle from the back of the car and I could see light coming through the crack in the trunk. And the door agar light would intermittently light.
Well, what happened is, I pushed the trunk open button by mistake and the door agar light doesn't light with the key in acc.

I knew I could count on another ESC user! Looks like a lot of others have dead center-console outlets. Wonder if that was a common problem?

I bought a door stay from my local dealer. Can't recall the cost, but it was worth every penny and the 15-minute install time. Highly recommended.

Ever have your center console removed for work? Mind didn't work after shifter install. Shop forgot to plug it back in.

The connector to the center console socket disconnects fairly easily. This happened to my 2014. It us easy to remove the socket from inside of the console box. Remove it VERY slowly and confirm that the wire is or is not connected. If you are real lucky, you may find the connecter close to the opening and be able to fish it out.

Thanks. I'll try it in the morning.
