Will 2020 BRZ Limited Headunit fit 2020 86 dashboard?

Has anyone checked if BRZ Limited Headunit fits the 86?

I'm looking at the pictures and it seems like the dimensions and shape of the units are a bit different.

BRZ:

86:

Update: ok, confirmed that there are two types of headunits, rectangular and trapezoidal.

I'm actually wondering if I can get away with the 86 trim, I guess the front will just stick out since the bezel will just sit on top of the trim.

Nope. Wrong.

Can you elaborate, please?

The trapezoidal head unit requires a trapezoidal garnish piece to be able to accommodate it, and a separate dash garnish piece.

The one piece combination dash garnish and square trim piece will not accommodate the larger trapezoidal head unit.

Is it just the face of the unit that won't fit or the actual unit is larger and won't fit the one piece cutout?

My assumption is if it's just the face that is trapezoidal, then it just won't sit flush with the trim, but the actual unit will fit the cutout, or I'm wrong?

Yep, the actual head unit is physically larger and will not fit through the cutout.

Got it, thank you.
