Ecutek no useful data
Just checking to see if this is unique to my car or if others have run into the same issue. Plugging in my ecutek dongle and loading up their app I can connect no problems but basically none of the info is useful. I can get rpm and inconsequential things like if the ac compressor is on but nothing useful like IAT, MAP, any fluid temps, nothing.

Do you have an ecutek license on the car? Has it been tuned?

Are you connecting it directly to the port or using an OBD extender? The port pins are known to become loose and cause issues.

I’m connecting it directly to the port. I also tried connecting my LM-2 and was able to at least pull up IAT, didn’t try any other values yet.
|
Can you show us a screenshot of your window with Ecutek on it?

Well I feel like an idiot. As you'll see stuff like IAT is in red so I just assumed you couldn't select it. Turns out that is not the case. I'm not really sure why it's red but I can put it on the dashboard now.

Seems strange You don't get full set of data unless it's ecutek tune. Make sure your on latest ecutek app and that you let the blutooth dongle update Also you need ecutek racerom 9 or higher patch on tune for ecutek app to work Also instead of going to dash display try going to data logging and see if all parameters are there and make sure your not in demo mode |
