Navigation for FRS?

So I'm in the market to change the stereo on my FRS to some sort of navigation/ipod interface. Wanted to know what resources/references I can get that are out there?

So far I've looked at crutchfields webpage and the FRS isn't even up there. Any suggestions? looking to spend from 500-800 depending on the setup. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Pretty much any double din unit will fit. Any unit for the TC should be identically sized to the FRS. But remember which ever one you do pick it will have a gap as I believe all units sold in North America are standard double din width while toyota uses slightly wider units.

I went with JVC's KW-NT800HDT and couldn't be happier with it. Fast GPS, responsive touch screen, and loads of features. Don't have many complaints with it so far. Its a little more on the pricey side. I decided to get mine from amazon rather than crutchfield as it was considerably cheaper and I had a load of amazon gift cards/rebates to use. I went into this blindly w/o knowing anything about indash navi units or ever wiring a unit up. But I did my research and found video reviews on many units.

I went with Clarion NX702. I played with alot of headunits and i found that it was significantly faster and had more features and a lot more choices for customization for a very decent price on amazon. Nav is really nice, quick to load, and reroutes fairly quickly. You'll need a Metra 95-8202 to close the gap that you'll get. I myself hate gaps and find myslef very happy with its outcome. NICE CLEAN setup.

My next step is sound deadening, then speakers, then sub and amps. When im completely thru i'll most likely put up an audio build. Wont right now because the process wont be complete for months and dont want everyone hanging on by a thread waiting for me to finish it. Blame my sneaker obsession.

I went with the Kenwood DNX6990HD. Great unit. Able to use stock usb connection with a little rewiring. Can also match dash light color. Also added reverse camera. Definitely consider the Kenwood.
