This is Ansix Auto's new intake snorkel. It replaces the OEM snorkel that's tucked behind the front bumper. The snorkel is designed with a bellmouth opening and turned down to pull air from the stock plastic air guide. By opening up the intake, it will increase the car's induction sound. The snorkle is made from carbon fiber reinforced Nylon. This snorkel weighs 300g / 10.5oz less than the stock snorkel.

How much of an increase in induction noise can be expected?

The sound will vary depending on the air filter you have. For our shop car, since we have an exhaust, the induction sound overpowers the intake sound unfortunately. If you'd like to hear it in action with the exhaust, check out the video below.

That’s a nice sounding exhaust/intake setup! Did you disable ASC?

Our exhaust consists of an Ace header, and the muffler delete basically.
