TAS300 (Toyota Touch'n'Go) in 2016 BRZ

I own a '16 EU BRZ and it had this mediocre radio installed by default: https://www.kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzei...45062-223-2418. I decided to switch and got this one but it's from a GT86, I didn't know beforehand: https://www.kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzei...32079-223-5305. It came without the clamps for the radio of course...


My first install was to use the old clamps from the original radio but this didn't seem to work out: I have approximately 5mm too much space above the new radio. This way, the carbon optic cover for the radio doesn't fit anymore.


My question now is: do I need the original clamps for the new radio? Did anyone try to retrofit the TAS300 into a BRZ and can share some experience?
