Reverse camera stopped working after washing car
 

Hi guys,
I have the OEM headunit with OEM backup camera.

Reversed car out to wash, camera was working, cleaned the car and dried it off with the leaf blower and first start up after the camera was no longer working.

I got the black screen with reverse warning text, with periodic screen glitch that shows me the camera for a split second but extremely distorted.

Any fix? Only thing that I can think of is that water got inside the cameras internals from the leaf blower- don’t know why after 3 years I haven’t had that problem.


I also seem to get the issue where sometimes going into reverse doesn’t show the camera at all, no black screen or anything. This fixes itself after turning the car off and on
