Front brake squeal when coming to a stop with wheel turned
https://youtu.be/3LWIsOzRcWQ
Would appreciate it so much if someone can diagnose wtf this is. I've been trying to solve it for half a year, spending loads on repairs and parts. About ready to just swap the kit out. The kit is a budget Wilwood 2 piston caliper with slotted rotors package from RR-Racing. Things I've tried: Used BP10 and Polymatrix Q compounds, both supposed to be quiet and low brake dust. Wilwood support has been unhelpful, telling me to center the caliper and buy shims. Caliper is dead center and I bought shims off of them and noise is the same. Brakes have been freshly bled. Anti-seize at all contact points. Things to note: Like title states, noise is heard when coming to a stop. Usually no noise until brakes are moderately used. It also may occur at low speed corners when the brake is depressed a certain degree. Soft braking and hard braking do not trigger the noise. Cheers. |
How do you bed in the pads?

A couple warm up stops from 45 to 30 mph, a series of hard stops from 60 to 5 with a few second intervals in between, then finally letting it cool for a few hours. |
