Nag Screen Removal?

Is there some way to get rid of the green nag screen that asks you to be a good driver when you start the car? I acknowledge that I'll be good but I hate lying each time. :slap:

Change the radio, it goes away immediately

I don't even recall seeing it any more. Isn't it only on for a few seconds after start-up?

For me, by the time I start up, get the seatbelt on, choose what I'm going to stream on BT, back out of the garage/parking space, etc, that banner is long gone.

Yes, but I don't want to see it at all.

Changing the head unit is the only way I know of.

But then again, I don't find it particularly difficult to hit the button as I'm waiting for the garage door to open.

I bet it's a DOT compliance thing, which makes me wonder why aftermarket units don't have something similar.

Just curious. Does your Canadian car have the banner too? Just wondering if this is a US-Spec thing or if cars in other markets have it too.

The nag screen I don't like NEVER goes away! I'm talking about the one in the overhead console that tells you the condition of your seat belts and airbags. At eye level,10in from my face! That's closer than any gauge or warning light in the whole car! It's like driving wearing an eye patch. I just put a piece of black tape over the whole thing. Also not very fond of the 2 outside temp gauges, 2 clocks and 2 door ajar warnings(a picture with a red door and a idiot light under it)

Yes, we have the banner. I just ignore it.
