Anyone try VP C85?

Wondering if anyone running E85 has ever tried the VP Racing C85 fuel?
From their product info:
With higher quality pure components, our blend is superior to E85 products. C85 works well in drag racing, circle track, off road and virtually any other automotive application. Note: Do not use with fuel injectors that are not compatible with MTBE.

The part that bothers me is apparently it is using the MTBE additive. No idea if that affects stock injectors. I know some aftermarket ones are not compatible.

17 bucks a gallon? Yikes.

We used to use this years ago before the local Sheets started carrying E85. Think of it as a more precise E85 vs pump E85 that can vary in content.

Generally tuners tune for E50 levels (with flex fuel) and anything above that is considered additional knock protection. So, if you are thinking of doing this to chase a few HP I don't think it will be fruitful. The next step is E98, which has its own issues.

The local sheetz yellow handle has been working for me with FI, and it worked for me NA for years. It does feel bad when your gauge reads 52 after a fill up tho.

So that was with the OEM injectors? Which would suggest they are compatible with the MTBE stuff. But given the price I'm not sure the juice is worth the squeeze.

I think we've just been lucky here, but our Sheets E85 measures between the mid 70s and mid 80s.

No. We always use ID Stainless Injectors when using E85.

When it gets cold they pull the E content it seems. Right now it is over 3$ a gallon so it better be 85%. Luckily i dont drive in the cold

Walking back my skepticism I wish I had a can right now as we are experiencing an across the board gas shortage here.
