Removing Alternator with the Edelbrock Supercharger

Hello. I need to get my alternator repaired and we all know it's a tight fight with the alternator under the top of the supercharger. Did anyone have any success with removing the alternator without having to remove the top portion of the supercharger? Any wiggle room to get that alternator off? Thanks group.

Yes it can be removed without removing the supercharger. I've done it. Its pretty tricky tho and took me a while. Putting it back in is just as difficulties if I remember correctly. While you have it out I would cut off the bolt hole that is no longer used. Makes it easier to reinstall the alternator and adds more clearance between it and the supercharger.
