Battle Garage Ultimate Throwout Bearing
Just wanted to leave this here. I saw this the other day on CM Autohaus's youtube channel. It looks like a great upgrade. Thoughts?

Price is very appealing

I needed a TOB so I ordered one. Will update when it arrives. Probably won't actually go in the car for another month.

Considering ordering in case I have to update my clutch. I'll find out Sunday

i'm curious about it. the construction differences make sense, though the "ALL OEM BEARINGS ARE GONNA FAIL IN -3 SECONDS WITHOUT THIS" fearmongering is a little over the top. |

It arrived, quite quickly actually. They also included a piece of the box for the bearing with the part number in the package which I thought was very cool of them to do. It is a Toyota genuine bearing PN 90363-40022.
So it is significantly longer than the stock TOB. I will take some measurements when I have time. The amount supported by the quill is not as long as it appears, but it is I would say about a 1/3rd longer then the stock TOB. Pictured is an Exedy replacement TOB from their OEM replacement clutch kit. I will also check fit on my spare transmission which is here at work later today. I am pretty happy with it on initial inspection. |
