Saw some colors not often seen
 

This past week in my area I saw two colors I’ve never seen in the wild:

British Racing Green

Yellow

Both were stunning and the green one had a stunningly beautiful gal behind the wheel.

Seen in NE metro Atlanta burbs.

If they build Gen 2 in that yellow I may just have to succumb.

the yellow is still funny to me. i can't seem to find it anymore, but one person paid to have their 13-14 pulled entirely apart and repainted yellow. only for it to be a factory option in '16...

The Toyota neon green GR is sorta cool.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a BR green brz.

AFAIK Subaru has never produced a green BRZ. However, Toyota's 2020 Hakone Edition is a gorgeous metalic green. Being a limited edition very few are ever seen in the wild.

As far as Yellow goes there have been several editions. There was the FRS Release Series 1 and the BRZ Series Yellow (Inazuma here in Canada) I owned one for a day.

The non-standard colours (AFAIK are as follows:)

FRS/86
2013 10 series = Silver ignition, the cool silver that can look brownish/greyish/silver depending on light.
2015 RS 1.0 = Yellow
2016 RS2.0 = Lunar Storm....kind of a weird beige/green/white
2018 = Thunder, some oddball blue/grey
2020 Hakone = The green

I think the BRZ only got the thunder grey equivalent, the pastelish blue (not the same as the neptue blue i dont think), and the yellow. all part of a BRZ series of some kind (in the US it was a Series.<colour>, In Canada they had BRZ Special edition names like Aozora (blue(?), Inazuma (yellow), Raiu (thunder grey)

Gen 2 has the anniversary orange as its special colour so far....i dont think the BRZ got anything though.

My 2013 BRZ is silver and was in production for only 1 or two years. It’s an elegant silver, far nicer than the silver they replaced it with.

Never like those stripes

Don't know about the US but the Canadian ones shipped to the dealer with the stripes uninstalled and it was up to the buyer if they wanted them put on.

I don't see a lot of white twins locally. Seeing a halo white 2017 86 is what made me go buy one realizing they did a refresh.

That is the majority of what I see here. White or red FRS/86 and WRB BRZs. I sometimes wonder if they even sold any other colour BRZ locally!

The only colours i ever see of twins is white, black or grey lol.

But then again nearly every car in the city is some shade of white, black, grey or silver, trailing behind theres the odd blue or red car and if someone is bold theres an actual different colour out there.
