HKS Supercharger damaged
7 Attachment(s)
I installed an hks supercharger to my supercharger over a year ago and recently I noticed a significant loss of power. Upon inspection and removal of the supercharger, I noticed that the supercharger housing was cracked and that oil was leaking out of the supercharger. Also when the pulley was spun, the impeller didn't spin at all. what could cause something like this to happen as I only drove it about 20k km and had it professionally installed and tuned. I contacted HKS and the seller FTspeed and none of them want to tell me what can cause this and just told me to buy another supercharger.

Sounds about right. Their website is filled with broken English and bad grammar. I wouldn't expect them to help you out tbh.

that s unfoortunately, actually not much to do other than buy another unit

Possibilities could be installed in a bind, Shitty casting, damaged prior to install, something came apart inside. Take it apart and see what it looks like. It could be repairable, but would require at least welding and machining. When you put it back together verify your lubrication system. Poor lubrication could have contributed to internal failure.
