Do late model BRZs not have Courtesy Lights.
The light that comes on and off whenyou open and close the door.

You talking just the two map lights turning on? That’s adjustable with a switch by the lights.

I'd have to go back in to my settings and see what it's called, but the interior lights on my car light up when I approach the car and it's locked. They will also come on when you pull on the handle to open the car if the car is already unlocked.

I've noticed it do it on my '22 Limited. I'm pretty sure it's called "welcome lighting" or something like that. I haven't dug through all the menus for a while.

Go into SETTINGS, CAR, METER and you’ll find it.

Are you asking about interior lights or lights at the bottom of the door?

FWIW, my 2022 GR86 Premium has both.

Excellent - i was searching for courtsey lights

The two interior lights at the top, now that you mention it what about the ones on the door as well.

If you swap out the door stays to pre facelift first gen ones the car will not only welcome you it will give you a hug as you get in!

Not sure about second gen but the only first gen ones that had the interior lights come on when you approached were the keyless entry ones.
