Just Another Second Gen Build
 

I was on the fence about the second gen until I had the opportunity to test drive one. I'm glad I kept most of my parts from my first gen build because I bought it and I'm in love all over again :-)

I don't know if I'll end up doing turbo again, only time will tell. For now though I do plan to daily this car and get it ready for the track.

Up next - RSR Sports-i Coil-overs

2023-01-27 Dealer appointment to have them remove the fake engine noise. I know you can unplug the cable but I wanted it permanently removed without the cable dangling behind the glove box.

2023-01-28 Installed RSR Sports-i Coilovers. Ended up lowering exactly 1/16th short of an inch both front and rear. For anyone that may be installing these in the future and chasing a desired ride height (PN XSPIT065M); I set the front B measurement to 19-20mm and the rear B measurement at 57mm.

Next up is removing the Starlink tracking and reporting to home.

2023-12-10 Pulled apart the dash to remove the Starlink. Installed Subaru Starlink Bypass Plug With Added Bluetooth Mic Adapter from Auto Harness House.

2024-04-04 Removed exhaust manifold and oil pan. Cleaned up excess RTV from oil pickup. Mine wasn't that bad but still worth doing.
