Because the AP Racing CP8350 was designed as a pure racing caliper, minimizing NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) was not a primary concern in its original applications. However, when enough customers ask for solutions, we get to work.


Custom-made to our specifications from heat-treated stainless steel, our CP8350 Pad Tension Clip applies a small amount of downward pressure on the brake pads, decreasing their vertical movement. While complete silence on a racing brake system isn't very realistic, the clips do significantly quell a large portion of the clicking, rattling, and clunking noises associated with pads moving in the calipers.

Thanks for listening to our requests Jeff and Essex! These pad tension clips have just about eliminated pad knocking noise from my 8350 kit when driving over bumps.:thumbsup:
