Rubbin is racing’ — wheel rubbing issue
I am fighting a wheel rubbing issue in a 2013 FRS with the following mods:
TWS 18x9.5 et 45 with 255/35 Bridgestone Potenza Sports Racecomp SS-1 coilovers 1.5 degrees of camber upfront At full lock or close to it, I still rub a little at the top of the wheel well. Back it off to 1.0 degrees? 245/35 tires up front? I wanted a square setup, but since my wife works for Bridgestone that’s not a huge issue. The wheels are flush now, so much of a spacer might look dumb. Thanks for any ideas! |
You can raise your ride height a bit. About all you can do, narrower tire will help some, but you may still hit. My car rubs in the front and on top.

There are also steering limiters if it is only happening at close to full lock. https://www.verus-engineering.com/sh...pra-1042#attr= |

Get skinnier tires and wheels. Only you give a shit ow the car looks.
A half inch isn't gonna do shit in terms of looks. |

Try the 245/35 tire or could even get a 3mm spacer
