Headlights automatic adjustment
 

Hello

I have US version of BRZ 2015.
To register it in my country (Estonia), i should have Automatic Headlights Adjustment, but seems like i don’t have one, my headlights are stock and i have a scroll-button under my steering wheel to adjust them manually (but this function comes only on halogen headlights, as i know).

So the question is, is there any chance that some of models don’t have Auto Adjustment?

I'm pretty sure that my 2017 doesnt. It has the lever in the back that connects to the rear LCA that should auto level them but im lowered so i had to manually adjust them. There is a dial on the back of the lights to manually move them up and down.

I believe this was a 2017 refresh change. Prior to that it had the manual knob to the left of the steering wheel(like yours). 17 and after have the automatic adjustment connected to the left rear lower arm.

I have Toyota 86 2013 GCC specs ( identical to most euro LHD specs )

I believe you need to change a lot of things to make the swap

for example there is computer assy for auto leveling

The BRZ with HID headlights have auto adjustment; there should be a sensor on or near your rear lower control arm. The halogen versions never came with auto adjustment.



The adjustment knob is just for fine tuning.

What you're looking for on the rear lower control arm is a triangle shaped thing that goes into it. That connects to the sensor posted above.
