2015 BRZ - Gen V LT1 Swap Introduction/Info
1 Attachment(s)
Hey everyone I’m taking on a new project of putting a Gen V LT1 in my BRZ. I just picked up the motor today and I can’t find this swap anywhere. There’s no aftermarket parts so I’m wondering if anyone has any good resources or knowledge on this subject. One of my concerns right now is where I might get custom motor mounts/oil pan. I will be documenting this project over the next couple years on this Forum and Instagram @donkeykong_brz

you're probably going to be pioneering this swap, which includes all the headaches of troubleshooting stuff for the first time, your best bet might be to find a shop that does this type of stuff (unique swaps and such) and see if you can get some sort of sponsorship to offset the cost of custom mounts, probable custom exhaust, tranny mounts etc etc etc, I will be following this build though as its very interesting

^ That.
You're probably the first and like 99.9% of the people out there won't finish through or document the process for others. Either way GL. |
Might try LS1Tech

Nah I actually had an LS1 already half built for it. I’m looking for the challenge with the LT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This will be helpful thanks, as far as the oil pans yeah it will be expensive I expected that. LS pans are $1000 normally for these so I figured this would be twice that at least. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
