Valenti Tail Light Issue

Two years ago I purchased sequential smoked taillights from Valenti. Recently the led bar that turns on when the headlights turn on has stopped working on the passanger side. The brake light and turn signal still work just fine. I checked the fuse and the connectors which were both fine. I have not taken apart the taillight yet because I wanted to know if it is even fixable and is so, how?

Hello pjwoodard and welcome to our happy forum -

I don't know the answer to your question, but, I would guess the bulb(s) are burnt out. I'd guess they can be replaced.

You may wish to check their web site for a clue as how to take them apart.

I figure that soon, someone will be along to help you out.

I don’t know how these taillights are inside but mine are buddy club and if an LED light goes off, all the next ones on the sequence on the circuit board won’t work as the current cannot pass. So you might have 1 LED light burnt. I think when you look at the taillight plug behind you will see 4 connectors ; ground, stop light, tail light and turn. Connect to a 12V the ground and to a positive the others one by one to know for sure.

everything is fixable given enough time, tools, and money. it just depends on what your limit on those things are.

I appreciate it, I reached out to their customer support team with my questions and I am waiting on a response.

don't expect much of one. their bit is to sell new assemblies, not offer support for old one's.

I had a few brake light LEDs go out on my Valenti's after a year or so. Sold them as-is to a guy who wanted to improve the looks of his track car.

They can be repaired with some patience and expertise, but that was well beyond what I was willing to put in a set of $200 taillights.
