Help with identifying this car
 

Hey everyone, I have spent the last day searching but came up empty handed. My son just bought this car from a dealership that claims it spent the majority of its life in Illinois. Does anyone here recognize this car? I am trying to find more information about it to be better educated about what it is my son just bought. Hoping the turbo kit is at least unique enough to point us in the right direction.
